Rockland Community Foundation New Fund Announcement: The Rockland Alliance for Health Fund

Rockland Alliance for Health (RAH) is a non-profit organization leading Rockland to be the healthiest community in the nation by providing financial and technical assistance to community and faith-based organizations to implement public health interventions that are evidenced-based and result in sustainable changes in policy, practice and the environment. The agency fund was created by RAH to help further its mission and take advantage of partnering opportunities offered by the Foundation.

"Working with the Rockland Community Foundation is a natural union for Rockland Alliance for Health (RAH)," explains RAH Board President Una Diffley. "Our partnership will help RAH further its ongoing goal of providing financial awards for sustainable public health initiatives to local faith and community based organizations to assist Rockland County become the healthiest community in the nation."

"Our first agency fund, it clearly demonstrates the opportunities that a community foundation offers non-profits to further their mission and broaden their exposure in the community.
