Tea Parties United has a rally set for Saturday, Oct. 15, noon to 5 p.m. at the Platzl Brauhaus, 127 Call Hollow Road, Pomona.
The group includes: Rally for America, Rockland Tea Party Patriots, Mahwah Tea Party, Hudson Valley Patriots, Westchester NY Tea Party, Bronx Tea Party, Staten Island Tea Party and Citizens4Freedom.
The free outdoor event features live music by Chip Murray and a variety of speakers, including Tom Borelli, Deneed Borelli, Steve Lonegan, Beth Powers, John Darash.
Bring lawn chairs and blankets; food will be available.
Also at the event, the Korean War Veterans Eagle Chapter of New City will have a table where they are collecting signatures in support of creating a POW/MIA U.S. stamp. They will aslo be collecting supplies that can be sent to U.S. troops serving overseas.
