New City Residents Receive Academic Honors

New York, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts colleges have released their 2012 fall and 2013 winter Dean's Lists.  

The following local residents made the Dean's List for Winter 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology: Andrew Kantrowitz, a fourth-year student in RIT's B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences; Adam Luvshis, a fourth-year student in RIT's B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences and Alyssa Miller, a fourth-year student in RIT's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences.

Four New City residents have been named to the Dean's list at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the Fall 2012 semester. They are Karishma Ramdat, Sanju Bose, Rosemarie Mastropolo and Deborah Winograd. The dean's list recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 and have no grades below "C."

Villanova University named Alexa Quinones to the Dean's List at Villanova University for the fall 2012 semester. Quinones is studying Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. To qualify for the Dean’s List students be a matriculated, attend full-time and earn a semester grade point average of at least 3.5.

Berklee College of Music in Boston released its fall 2012 Dean's List that included Alyssa Gutierrez and Nicole Riolo.
