New City’s Top 10 Community Stories For 2011 Run The Gamut

Attention drawn to articles about Hurricane Irene, residents and local business

 

New City Patch readers were drawn to a variety of local topics during this year, no single issue dominated.  Looking at the most read stories of the year revealed an interest in what was happening to area residents from Josh Berg, who survived a vicious bear attack in Alaska; homeowners and businesspeople, who sustained property damage from the August deluge, to the Clarkstown North High School prom and graduation.  Business stories sparked interest – the sudden closing of Pasta Cucina and possible future of the Nanuet Mall
