Vandals over the weekend spray painted obscenities on the artificial turf football field at Clarkstown North High School in New City, according to Clarkstown police.
Black spray paint was used in vandalism to the field and the Rams logo on the field. Police said that the track around the football field was targeted, along with benches used by football players.
Clarkstown detectives and crime scene investigators were at the field today reviewing the damage to the field, located just off Congers Road. Police said the vandalism took place sometime between 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. today.
No one has been charged yet in connection with the vandalism.
