Polls Open at 7AM for Clarkstown School Board, Budget Vote

The eight candidates running for two seats on the Clarkstown Board of Education are: 

• George Ballane, 73 Leona Avenue, New City
• Phillip DeGaetano, 36 Sharon Drive, New City
  
• Darin Diamond, 49 Woodhaven Drive, New City 
• David Gosman, 2 Muller Court, New City
• Christian Jauntig, 58 Winfield Avenue, New City
• Sean Magee, 11 Patricia Avenue, Congers
• Jay Papp, 199 Van Houten Fields, West Nyack 
• Karen Policar, 36 Cypress Street, New City

Also on the ballot May 20 is the trustees' $201.8 million spending plan, which carries an estimated 2 percent tax-levy increase. 

Voting takes place at North High School, Congers Community Center, Link Elementary and West Nyack Elementary schools.
