Rockland Voters Pass School Budgets

Rockland residents approved their trustees' spending plans for 2014-15 in all of the county's school districts, according to lohud.com.

In Clarkstown, David Gosman and Darin Diamond won the two seats on the Board of Education out of a field of eight candidates, according to the district's unofficial vote tally. 

In Nanuet, the three incumbents—Anne Byrne, Peter Whalen and Charleen Caulk—won re-election. 

Ramapo Central School District voters elected Craig H. Long, Marlyse F. Haward and Amany Messieha Dgheim out of a field of five candidates to fill the three open Board of Education seats.

Results in the Nyack school board race among James Marshall, Leeann Irvin, Jen Marraccino and Dan Berkowitz were not known at post time.
