School Board Elects New President And VP

The Clarkstown School Board elected a new president and vice president at Tuesday’s reorganization meeting. Mike Aglialoro was elected president and Chris Conti was elected as vice president for the 2013-2014 term. Both are in the second year of their first terms.

They take the place of trustees Joe Malgieri and Diane Hoeneveld, who served as president and vice president respectively for one year. The vote for each candidate was five to one with Malgieri casting the no vote. Hoeneveld did not attend the meeting.

Robert Carlucci, who was elected to a second three-year term, took the oath of office. Hoeneveld, who was also re-elected to her fourth term, will be sworn in at a future meeting.
