Youth Against Cancer Sets Fundraising Record In Third Year
The Clarkstown South High School group raised the most in its history this year
Over its first two years, Clarkstown South’s Youth Against Cancer group raised about a combined $5,000 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization. This year, the group raised $5,700, which it will donate to Susan G. Komen and Warming Hearts of Rockland. Sydney Narzabal, a student member of Youth Against Cancer, said more than 700 students participated in this year’s Pink Day.
