The Jewish Federation of Rockland County will be holding their annual Longest Day of Golf on Monday, October 15, 2012 Beginning at 8:00am at the Paramount Country Club in New City. The event is in support of the Federation’s annual campaign, which raises money to fund and support a local and worldwide network of organizations that care for people in need here in Rockland, in Israel and around the world. In addition, funds raised will support mammograms for underprivileged women both here in Rockland as well as the Federation partner city in Kiriyat Ata Israel.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and by helping fund mammograms for underprivileged women both in Rockland and in Israel, we can increase survival rate through early detection.
Golfers are asked to raise a minimum of $2,500 in sponsorships in order to participate. Golfer registration is still being accepted as are co-operate and personal sponsorships.
