Stamp Collecting: The World’s Most Popular Hobby: On Thursday, August 9 at 4 p.m. the Tappan Library hosts a stamp collection program with Tom Riley, author of We Deliver, a history of postal servers from 6,000 years ago to present. Learn about valuations, where you can go for appraisals, and hear fascinating stories about stamps that will make you want to preserve them for future generations. Tom will be giving out albums and stamps. We will be soaking stamps and mounting them into albums. Pre-register online at www.taplib.org or call 845-359-3877.
