How Do You Get Your Olympics Fix? [POLL]

Do you watch the Olympics online or on television?

One of the biggest stories to emerge from the 2012 London Olympics is how NBC chooses to broadcast events.

With a five-hour time difference between the East Coast and London, NBC decided to show only some events live during the day. At night, NBC shows pre-taped versions of some of the bigger events, or those featuring the most famous athletes. NBC streams sports online that it doesn’t show live on TV.

Other news outlets, however, are reporting on the events as they happen, so by the time they air for the first time on TV, it’s fairly easy for people to already know the results. For some, they might tune in at night to watch an event because they already know the result and want to watch it play out.

I can't stay awake late enough to watch the events I want to watch! I ended up viewing Gabby Douglas' overall round of events on YouTube the day after.
