Softball All-Stars Made An Entrance

The New City-Suffern-Congers 9-10 Softball All-Stars celebrated their Eastern Regional Championship title in style.

The New City-Suffern-Congers 9-10 Softball All-Stars arrived in a procession of flashing lights on Tuesday night. Members of the Eastern Regional Championship team rode on New City Fire Trucks from Zukor Park to Clarkstown hall.  The town board recognized the team for winning division, sectional, state and the Eastern Regional titles.

Town Councilmember Frank Borelli said the community was “blessed” to have the 9-10 year olds softball team win the Eastern Regional Championship this year and the 12-year-olds All Stars Softball team play in the Softball World Series last year.
