UNITED WATER VS THE POLITICIANS

A recent blog by J. Leo had had a quote from Benjamin Franklin.  HE THAT LYETH DOWN WITH DOGS SHALL RISE UP WITH FLEAS. How appropriate when considering the relationship between today's politicians and our local water company, United Water..

Look and see who it is that supports the rejection of the PSC mandated secondary source of water,via the United Water Desalinization Plant.  St. Lawrence, Cornell, Schoenberger, Vanderhoef, Gromack, Sparaco, Reda,   Lasker, etc.. If you are feeling a little itchy with a tendency to lift your leg when you see a fire hydrant, perhaps you should  examine and reassess just why you may be in bed with this group of flea bearing dogs. It has ZERO to do with the prospect of a rise in your water rate which will necessarily rise moderately over time, as it has the last 30 years, but EVERYTHING to do with the TAKEOVER of the water company by these flea infested politicians to employ their cronies and to raise rates willy nilly and erase the protection you now have with the PSC oversight. It took over 30 years for your water rates to rise from $30/month to $50/month or about from $360 to  $600 a year while in the same 30 years, your real estate taxes rose from $250/ month to $1000/ month. or from $3,000 to $12,000 a year.  Your out of pocket water bill for the average taxpayer rose on average about $3,600 over the last 30 years but your out of pocket real estate taxes rose on average about $121,500. Are you ready for some flea powder in the form of reassessing your rejection of Desal or will you continue to itch your way through life, with your trust in Chris St, Lawrence et al ? St Lawrence says he can run it better....the numbers say ......that just ain't so.
