Paul Marks, owner of Leader Carpet in Nanuet, is giving away a and the sales from the $10 raffles will be donated to People to People, Rockland’s largest food pantry
Marks is also hitting the streets to sell the raffles.
There will be a table for raffle sales with information set up in front of Stop & Shop in New City on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Sunday, there will also be a table at Boulder Stadium in Pomona on Sunday during the flea market from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The makeover includes $10,000 worth of flooring. The other $10,000 secured HGTV star Taniya Nayak to come and design and oversee the entire project.
There will also be a block party at Leader Carpet from 1 – 4 p.m. on October 13 with a rain date on Oct. 14. The party will feature the Mighty Spectrum Band.Raffles can be purchased at Leader Carpetor on their website. The sweepstakes runs until Oct. 26.
“It's a win-win for everyone involved and we couldn't be happier to be bringing this into Rockland County,” said Marks.
