Rockland United Way Names O&R Exec To Board

Orange & Rockland Manager David Braunfotel will join the United Way of Rockland County Board of Directors

 

The United Way of Rockland County named long-time Rockland County resident David Braunfotel to its Board of Directors.

Braunfotel is the Section Manager of the Customer Support Operations Department for Orange & Rockland. He graduated from Clarkstown schools and has worked for O&R since 1994.

"David is a smart, capable, hard-working administrator who solves problems with a sensitive and caring respect for the human side of our business," said Bill Longhi, President and CEO of O&R. "He also has a keen understanding of budgets and how to employ limited resources to maximum effect. He will be a strong addition to the United Way Board.”

Braunfotel graduated from Rockland Community College, has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Ramapo College. He graduated from the Leadership Rockland program in 2008 and has taken part in the Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle Campaign. He currently lives in Suffern with his wife and two children.
