Zebrowski And Supporters Clean Up Route 304 In New City

The group participated in Keep Rockland Beautiful's Great American Cleanup

Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski took to Route 304 Saturday morning to pick up garbage along with family, friends and colleagues. Some of the familiar folks helping out were his sister, Kristen Zebrowski Stavisky, the county's Democratic Committee chair, Stephanie Hausner, Clarkstown council member, and Dennis Malone, Clarkstown's Mini Trans supervisor.

They were cleaning a section of the road as part of the Great American Cleanup, a national effort to improve communities throughout the country. Locally, the event is sponsored by Keep Rockland Beautiful.

The group of 10 cleaned up 304 from Cavalry Drive, near McDonald’s up to Cosmos Lane, which leads into Snowdrop Drive.

Plenty of other organizations will hold their own Great American Cleanup events in the next few weeks and are still looking for volunteers. For more information about the cleanup, including a schedule of when others are picking up garbage, click here.
