Description: Start off the month with art and wine as the Nyack Art Collective (NAC) presents an Art/Wine Crawl. Shops and businesses unite with local artists for an evening of art, music, poetry and wine! NAC is a member owned and managed non-profit organization comprised of visual artists in the greater Nyack, area. Find out more.
Fifth Annual Chuck Poidevin Memorial Blood Drive
Where: DeCarlo Chiropractic at 29 Third St in New City
When: Saturday, Jan. 4 beginning at 10 a.m.
Cost: Free
Description: Donate at the 5th Annual blood drive held in the memory of Chuck Poidevin. Chuck was about living life to the fullest. The drive is conducted by the NY Blood Center and Automated Red Cell (ALEX machine) and Whole Blood donations can be made. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.

Pancake Breakfast
Where: Congregation Sons of Israel, 300 North Broadway, Upper Nyack
When: Sunday, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m.
Cost: $5 per person
