Summer Film Series: Take Me Out To the Ball Game

When: Fridays in August at 1 p.m.
Where: New City Library, 220 North Main Street, New City
Why Go: Enjoy popcorn, trivia questions, prizes and these great baseball flicks on Fridays: August 2 - A League of Their Own, August 16 - Field of Dreams, August 23 - Eight Men Out and August 30 – Moneyball.

Rockland Residents Donate The Gift Of Blood

When: Friday, Aug. 2 from 3 to 7 p.m.
Where: Street Center Community Center 31 Zukor Road, New City
Why Go: Senator David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) in partnership with the New York Blood Center will kick off his Community Blood Drive to solicit life-saving blood donations. The event will draw residents all throughout Rockland County who are willing to provide a safe, abundant, and readily available supply of blood products for individuals in need of heart transplants, trauma victims, newborn babies, surgery patients, and others in need. Up 2,000 pints of blood are needed daily in the New York Metro area.

Spin The Wheel Of Fortune To Win Prizes At Bounce!

When: Saturdays and Sundays in August, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Where: Bounce! Trampoline Sports, 612 Corporate Way, Valley Cottage
