West Nyack Little League is hosting the New York State Little League Championship at its complex at Germonds Park in West Nyack, with play scheduled to begin today at 5:30 p.m. The tournament is part of the "Road to Williamsport" - with the winner continuing in regional competitions that lead to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. The volunteer organizers of West Nyack Little League on Wednesday sponsored a party at Germonds for the teams particpating in the tournament, including Rockland County's own team from Stony Point.
