I work at the Hi Tor Animal Care Center as the community outreach person. Hi Tor is a privately incorporated nonprofit organization dedicated to the care and control of animals in Rockland County. We have many cats, dogs and occasionally rabbits, gerbils and hamsters waiting for people and a home to call their own.  Please come visit us either in person or online (www.hitor.org). If you are not able to adopt a pet there are so many other ways you can become involved in helping these waiting animals. Whether it is a donation from our wish list, playing with the cats, walking the dogs or answering the phone. These are just a few ways to help. We also offer programs to help girl and boy scouts earn their animal badges.
