Heather moved to Wilton in 2007 and has spent most of her time since then in the car driving her children from one activity to the next. Despite her family's busy schedule she has still been able to keep up with her interests in media, national and local politics, and pop culture. She's giddy that Patch offered her a platform to write about her views. No stranger to media before moving to Wilton, Heather worked for "Entertainment Tonight," TV Guide and Self, and was a long- and short-form TV/news/video producer in Chicago.
Sandwiched in between media gigs, Heather started a children's knitwear accessories business, la Folie.
Privately and publicly, Heather has increased her interest in what's happening in Wilton's schools. One of the ways she's getting involved is through the Wilton Education Foundation, where she serves as a Board Member. She also volunteers elsewhere in the Wilton community.
She enjoys trips to France to see her husband's family, dreaming of how she'd decorate her house, paying it forward, and watching her kids learn. Oh, and imagining what the recommended 8 hours of sleep a night would feel like.
