Leona Beasley
Leona Beasley has a MFA in Creative Writing from the New School University, which sits in the heart of New York City's artsy neighborhood of Greenwich Village, a MA in Education from Mills College in Oakland, California, and a BFA in Interior Design from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. 
Leona is a writer, novelist, collage artist, and novice film maker who has worked on a hand full of documentary films. Leona is editing her novel Eleven Light City, a coming of age/coming out novel  about memory, loss, discovery and the places we find and call home. She loves photography, film and all sorts of ways to tell stories. Born in the southern United States she lives in Sleepy Hollow, NY with her wife Kathy, and her dog "Action" Jackson in a house they called the Bird's Nest.
