A lifelong Chicago south suburban resident, Mary has been a photojournalist for over 21 years covering the south suburbs and Chicago area. Mary enjoys covering community news and has a passion for people. She believes every person has a story, and some are everyday heroes making a difference for the lives of others. Mary won a Lisagor in 2010, for a photo story on a 10 year old ballerina. She has won several other awards including first place in IPPA and IPA.
