ReplyOne of my concerns about suicide incidents or attempts on the Tappan Zee Bridge is that the lives of police and volunteer firefighters are put at risk in rescue and recovery efforts. In a recent incident, a volunteer firefighter fell into the Hudson River, but escaped injury.

I love interleague play! I remember the old Mayor's Trophy Game pitting the Mets against the Yankees. But the game didn't have any affect on the standings, so the game became a joke. Now, when the two teams meet it's for real and there's more than just bragging rights at stake.
