You can't ask for a nicer group of people than you'll find at Amici's. Nick and his family treat everyone like family and their food is terrific. The line was out the door there on Saturday night!

Every trip to Nyack Gourmet is worth the time! Cris makes amazing sandwiches and more. (The coffee is always great!) Take a break and hang out at one of the tables he has in the front of the store. By the way, Cris spends tons of time volunteering in the community, especially with Drama Works at Nyack High School.

I spent about a half-hour at Pickwick this afternoon ... it easily could have turned into a two-hour visit. There's so much great stuff there. I was fascinated by Images of America — Orangetown, a small book which has tons of images about life in the town, and the Nyacks, in their early days. Jack Dunnigan has a lot of hidden treasurers in the shop.
