Dear Editor: We, the students of East Ramapo Central School District, are unhappy because of the lack of concern for the current state of our education.The worst part is that No One Cares! Our school board blames the state, the State blames the board, our N.Y.S. elected officials are quiet, our Commissioner of Education is quiet, and our Governor is quiet! In response to this, the students of East Ramapo will be participating in a nonviolent student walk-out on Wednesday, May 29th. Students from Spring Valley High School and Ramapo High School will exit the building at 11:38am and march to Memorial Park in Spring Valley where a student-run demonstration will be held.
