Clarkstown schools will be closing early today because of the snow.
The first schools to close are North and South high schools at 10 a.m. followed at 10:30 a.m. Congers, Laurel Plains, Link, New City and Strawtown elementary schools and the Birchwood School. At 11 a.m., Bardonia, Lakewood, Little Tor, West Nyack and Woodglen elementary schools will close. Felix Festa Middle School will close at 11:30 a.m.
All after school activities and events, including the JCCY, the YMCA, and the Clarkstown Community Learning Center are cancelled.

Clarkstown police are not reporting any road problems or accidents as of 10:50 a.m.

Rockland Coalition for Drug Free Schools And Community meeting cancelled.
All Clarkstown after school programs including JCCY, YMCA and Clarkstown Community Learning Center cancelled.
The Clarkstown North High School Winter Concert scheduled for tonight will take place on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 6:45 p.m. All student performers should arrive no later than 6:15 p.m.
The New City Library is closing at 12 p.m.
The 6th Annual Holiday Shoe Drive Celebration has been rescheduled for Thursday, Dec. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Blue Hill Plaza in Pearl River.
